River View in Stamford Bridge exceeded all of our expectations. the accommodation was beautifully presented with a lovely patio area overlooking the river. the bathroom was luxurious and stocked with everything we needed. the location was ideal, with easy access to York via bus and local shops just a stone's throw away. the triple glazed windows made it remarkably quiet, despite being on a main road. the attention to detail from the owners, Jane and Graham, was exceptional - from the pantry stocked with essentials to the fluffy towels provided. We felt truly pampered during our stay and cannot wait to return to this hidden gem.
